Harbour International is a primary school located in the centre of Rotterdam, a short walk from Central station. Our school was opened in 1987 and served international parents for years under the name Blijberg international. In September 2019, we changed our name to Harbour International and are still offering quality education at an affordable price to mobile families.

Vacancy:  Dutch as an Additional Language Teacher

At Harbour International we aim to teach Dutch as an additional language to improve social language skills and knowledge about Dutch culture. We are looking to recruit a qualified, exceptionally talented Dutch Language teacher to engage and excite our students.

The post requires teaching Dutch and Dutch culture to groups of international children with many personal languages, some of whom may be in the initial stages of their Dutch acquisition. The aim is to increase the children’s confidence and fluency when speaking in Dutch and we are looking for a teacher who can achieve this in fun, creative and effective ways e.g., through storytelling, songs, games, and other interactive activities.
